Reiki Energetic Balancing
Reiki is a simple, effective method of natural health promotion which originated in Japan. In a session, healing Reiki energy is made available to the client, promoting a feeling of calm, ease and restored vitality. Similar to the “laying on of hands”, Reiki energy is passed to the recipient primarily through the hands and is based on the idea that the state of the essential life force energy in our bodies is revealed in positive health or illness. Our life force energy has an optimum natural balance and flow and we are at risk to develop illness when it is low or out of balance. Reiki restores the natural balance of the energy which animates the body, providing deep relaxation and bringing a sense of peace and well-being. Reiki energy supports the whole person, promotes healing on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, is natural and it complements other treatment modalities and treatments.
The word Reiki is translated as “spiritually guided life energy” and the benefits are seen as coming from God or the Divine, rather than from the practitioner. Although Reiki is not affiliated with any religion, it is a spiritual practice for the practitioner and it encourages positive attitude, lifestyle and practices, including meditation. The ability to access and send Reiki for the benefit of others comes through an attunement which opens the practitioner to Reiki.
Dr. Mikao Usui developed and taught Reiki in the early 1900’s in Japan and it was brought to the United States by Hawayo Takata, a student of one of his successors, Dr. Hayashi. Many Reiki Masters in the United States were trained by someone who originally was trained by Mrs. Takata, however more Reiki masters are learning and utilizing the original Japanese healing techniques taught by Dr. Usui and which are still practiced in Japan today. Some Usui Reiki Masters also integrate aspects of Tibetan Reiki into their Usui Reiki practice. Dynamic Healing practitioners are all trained in the original system of Usui Reiki and utilize other types of Reiki as well.
What you can expect from your Reiki session: The client remains fully clothed as they relax onto a treatment table or sit in a chair while the practitioner uses standard hand placements to send the energy into areas where it is needed. The recipient may feel very relaxed, fall asleep or move into a deeply meditative state, as does the practitioner. Although we cannot say with certainty how Reiki works, the results as reported by many people who have received it have been quite remarkable. The healing energy of Reiki is said to go where the client most needs it and has many reported benefits which include:

* Increased vitality and mental clarity
* Improved immune function and resistance to illness
* Reduced symptoms of chronic illness, stress, depression and anxiety

Distance Reiki
Reiki practitioners are able to send the Reiki energy from a distance once they have achieved the second level of training. The practitioners who serve our clients are all certified and experienced Reiki Masters who in a deep meditative state add prayerful intent to all of their distance sessions. With your request for distance Reiki, please let us know what the concerns are that you wish to address.

Usui Reiki with Dave Cornell
Dave is a Usui Reiki Master. He incorporates clearing and release techniques into his practice that have proven effective in removing long-held fears, trauma, karma and other illness-causing issues found in the body and energy field.
Lingering emotional pains, traumatic memories and unwanted psychic connections have an energetic component to them and are attached to our energy field. By energetically neutralizing and removing these attachments, the energetic cause of the problem is able to move out of the individual's system.
